Job summary
Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Technician III to join our Operations & Maintenance team.Responsibilities include responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing maintenance and repairs on building equipment, fixtures, and systems in a manufacturing environment.The position requires good working knowledge of equipment and the ability to work within machine tolerances.

Responsibilities
• Following safety guidelines and wearing PPE• Operating, maintaining, and repairing facility and production equipment• Performing planned maintenance and troubleshooting on building equipment• Performing preventive maintenance inspections• Developing and implementing planned maintenance procedures• Assisting with installing and inspecting new equipment• Providing support to co-workers, contractors, and vendors• Complying with regulations and standards• Responding to work orders and providing service to customers• Operating various diagnostic and testing instruments• Maintaining a strict schedule and demonstrating flexibility
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• Three years of maintenance experience in a relevant trade• Ability to work in aerial lift or scissor lift at heights• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.• Ability to climb ladders and stairs• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach repetitively• Ability to differentiate colors• Ability to read and understand documents• Ability to use office equipment and computer• Ability to communicate effectively• Fluency in computer use• Willingness to work overtime and on holidays/weekends• Steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and hard hats may be required• Ability to cope with job demands and work environment stressors
