Job Description In this high impact role, you will have the opportunity to highlight your strategic thinking and thought leadership, while also driving day to day execution and operational excellence across the Global Cloud Services organization.
As GCS Budget Lead, you will drive the operating rhythms for the GCS organization with a heavy focus on strategic headcount planning, and the continued evolution of the Business Operations operating model.
This role works closely with Talent Acquisition, Finance, Human Resources, GCS Leadership, and reports into the Chief of Staff for GCS.
What you get to do in this role: Ensure and enable GCS leaders to make the best decision about headcount and expense allocation through accurate data that is synthesized with organizational context. Includes reconciling competing data sources where required. ? Establish a drive headcount planning process and priorities for the global GCS organization. Ability to synthesize and communicate status to multiple stakeholders including executives. Drive accountability to business outcomes, closure of action items.  Identify opportunities to continually improve and streamline how we operate as an organization - establish standards and common frameworks, promote best practices, champion innovation. Orchestrate Annual Operating Planning activities through submission? Build a deep understanding of Finance - strategies, goals, challenges, job roles, employee levels, and capability gaps and provide solutions to address the need. Be the trusted partner and source of truth for GCS leaders and finance team. Strong understanding of cloud pricing models and infrastructure costs. Qualifications To be successful in this role you have: 12+ years in technology operations role, corporate finance role, or equivalent experience  Masters level education or equivalent experience  Exceptional interpersonal skills, with specific experience in budget and finance planning for cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams  Strong critical thinking and analytical reporting skills – an ability to leverage key metrics and indicators to achieve desired outcomes  Ability to influence teams to look at the big picture and gain alignment with the organizational goals Exceptional communication?and collaboration?skills?  Data driven mindset with an inclination to solve complex business problems and recommend continuous improvement initiatives Exceptional verbal and written communication skills  Strong team management and leadership capabilities  A track record of empathy for and connection with the roles in a tech organization  An understanding of ServiceNow technology and its many applications to Business Operations and Planning  A fundamental understanding of software engineering and development a plus  Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic and fast paced work environment GCS-23
For positions in the Seattle metro/Kirkland areas, we offer a base pay of $155,600 - $272,400, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications , skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
