Job Purpose and Impact
As the Global Category Marketing Manager (Open to Remote), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategy, priorities, and investments for the global Dietary Supplements category. Using your insights and deep understanding of business drivers, you'll create compelling value propositions that resonate with customers and generate sustainable value. You'll drive customer-centric marketing initiatives to meet our business and financial goals.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute marketing strategies and annual plans for the global Dietary Supplements category, aligning with broader business objectives.
Actionable Plans: Translate strategic marketing plans into clear, actionable steps, measured against key performance indicators.
Collaborative Promotion: Partner with global and regional marketing teams to create comprehensive promotional programs, campaigns, and other marketing activities within budget and market dynamics.
Brand Equity: Drive awareness and enhance brand equity through insights-driven marketing activities.
Cross-functional Partnerships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs, competitor intelligence, market trends, and consumer behaviors, driving strategic decisions for the product or category.
Product Innovation: Ensure a healthy product portfolio by leading innovation, new product development, customer solution co-creation, and product commercialization initiatives.
Brand Positioning: Position and build the brand and product portfolio, enhancing awareness and brand equity.
Launch Strategies: Design and execute launch strategies for new products, services, or solutions, optimizing customer engagement and demand.
Customer Experience: Improve customer experiences by developing and activating differentiated value propositions in partnership with broader teams.
Training and Collateral: Provide guidance on the development and delivery of marketing trainings and collateral for the global Dietary Supplements category.
Sales Tools: Develop impactful, customer-driven sales tools and materials to support commercial and go-to-market teams.
Thought Leadership: Offer expert thought leadership in your field, working independently and providing direction to supporting team members as needed.
Trade Show Strategy: Lead regional trade show and conference strategies, overseeing budgeting and managing execution, and assist with global trade show execution.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of six years of related marketing experience
Minimum of two years of supervisory or leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree or MBA in marketing
Experience in the food ingredients/nutrition B2B industry
Category experience in Dietary Supplements
Proven track record of commercial success in B2B strategic marketing
Experience in brand building
Compensation and Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is $130,000 to $160,000, with variations based on location, certifications, education, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award based on company and personal performance.
