The Global Business Development and Account Manager role is pivotal in driving the expansion of our company's global footprint and fostering strong client relationships worldwide. This position entails leading strategic initiatives to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, while also serving as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for formulating and executing comprehensive business development strategies, managing existing accounts to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver exceptional service and exceed client expectations. Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills are essential for success in this role, along with a deep understanding of international business practices and market dynamics. Essential Functions and Duties:
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries within the medical device sector in the assigned regionDevelop and execute strategic plans to generate leads and convert them into new business opportunitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in medical device companiesCollaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create tailored sales pitches and marketing materials specific to medical devices and polymer applicationsUtilize expertise in polymer materials to address technical inquiries related to medical device manufacturing and provide solutions to customer challengesConduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our polymer products/services in medical device applicationsNegotiate contracts and pricing agreements with medical device clients, ensuring favorable terms for both partiesTrack and report on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue forecastsStay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics related to medical devices and polymer materialsRepresent the company at medical device industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our polymer products/servicesOther duties as assigned by a supervisor or managerAssists in special projects as neededContinually increase knowledge of orthodontics, industry trends, and company processesCommunicate regularly with senior management, presenting reports, insights, and recommendations related to raw material sourcing activities, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives Straumann Group has been inspired to make people's lives better, improve oral health and restore people's self-esteem and driving the company's purpose to unlock the potential of people's lives. Ability to navigate complex global markets and develop strategies to penetrate new territories while mitigating risks Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or International RelationsKnowledge of medical device manufacturing processes, regulations, and quality standardsStrong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsStrong negotiation skills with the ability to lead discussions and close deals for complex business agreements, contracts, and partnerships. Salary: $160,000-170,000/Annually.  The final pay for this position will vary based on geographic location and candidate experience relative to what the company reasonably anticipates for this position.
