GIS & Operations Associate Location: Salt Lake City hybrid work model . Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced GIS candidate who can help advance our GIS and mapping capabilities. The position will be focused on supporting the Operations team by managing the day-to-day GIS mapping/annotations for our AI Machine Learning technology Blyncsy.AI, and support for other staff (including demo's, system training and correspondence).
Responsibilities: Work with the Blyncsy Operations team to run Blyncsy.AI implementations and projects with customers globally. GIS mapping, annotations, Blyncsy.AI projects and support for our products Collection, manipulation, analysis, and visualization of spatial data Covering multiple types of data, classifications, and coordinate reference systems (CRS) Provide integral feedback on the product (and company) road map Organization and effective time management are critical to meet project deadlines and client deliverables. Desired skills 5+ years' experience in GIS support or related field Experience with GIS/mapping and geospatial concepts. Ability to speak professionally to customers, vendors, and stakeholders. Ability to explore new mapping tools and put them to use through trial and error. Be able to work independently with customers to understand requirements and collaboratively develop solutions. Previous experience using QGIS/ArcGIS a plus. Ability to think critically about logistics and help drive the process. History of working well with a small, cross-functional team Bachelor's degree preferred. This position may require some travel.
