ABS Group is seeking GIS Analysts of all levels (Jr., Mid., and Sr.) with experience in geospatial data analysis and modeling and visualizing data to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The GIS Analyst will be part of an integral team providing our clients with the latest tools, models, and software to communicate risk using GIS technologies.


What You Will Do: Utilize GIS and related software to produce, display, and analyze geographic information Develop models, custom geoprocessing tools and other automated process enhancements Perform quality assurance of GIS data and associated deliverables Creating, editing, and managing Esri File Geodatabases Supporting the development of services and analysis of GIS data Create, organize, manipulate, and retrieve GIS data for reporting, analysis, and presentation purposes Edit and create static and dynamic mapping products and services Communicate technical subjects to both management and clients in a clear manner Develop, edit, and troubleshoot large geodatabases used by mapping tools. What You Will Need:


Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in Computer Science, Environmental Science, Geography, or related field with demonstrated GIS training or coursework
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Esri ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro software expertise Foundational knowledge of GIS principles and methods Knowledge with the FEMA's Hazus software desired Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel desired ArcGIS Online, Python and Web Application development capabilities desired ABOUT US
