Professional Service Industries, Inc. (Intertek-PSI) is looking for a Geotechnical Driller / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Building & Construction team in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Benefits & Perks: Ability to grow with the Company (over 100 locations with opportunity for growth/advancement) Day to day variety of work Ability to work on both small and large projects Technical training provided to grow career in Building & Construction industry Competitive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability insurances 401k with company match Tuition reimbursement What you'll do: Operate and maintain drill rigs, associated vehicles, and equipment Perform geotechnical and environmental drilling Perform various drilling activities including soil drilling, rock coring, sampling, classification, in-situ testing, and monitoring well installation Prepare necessary logs/records and file reports Control safety procedures on site What it takes to be successful in this role: H.S. Education or Equivalent, preferred Past drilling experience is strongly preferred but not required - candidates with equipment operation experience will be considered Have a mechanical background and aptitude, with skills in operating and maintaining machinery Must commit to working safely and ensuring the safety of co-workers Must be at least 18 years old Must be compatible and able to communicate with other people in a small team environment Must be comfortable working outdoors Be able to work 12 hour shifts (day or night) in various climatic conditions for extended periods of time Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record (required) Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently. Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound Ability to kneel and squat occasionally Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold) Ability to climb occasionally Be physically fit and able to pass a fit for duty test Why work for Intertek-PSI?
