We are hiring a GENERATOR TECHNICIAN on behalf of a nationwide, well established RENTAL company with a great culture that treats their people right! This job is located in the Sparks, NV area.
We are looking for someone that uses a high degree of independent judgment and complete maintenance/repairs tasks in a safe and professional manner. Every day, you can improve and challenge yourself, and if you have the desire and ambition, you'll have the potential to work towards leadership roles within the SERVICE DEPARTMENT.
JOB DUTES: Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, gas, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment
Perform loadbank tests and major/minor PMs
Diagnose and repair all equipment in the rental fleet without supervision utilizing schematics and diagnostic programs
When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner
Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis
Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
