Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot standby generators• Perform routine maintenance tasks• Diagnose and resolve technical issues• Keep accurate records of service calls• Communicate effectively with customers• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• Proven experience as a standby generator service technician• Strong knowledge of generator systems, electrical systems, and power distribution• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues• Familiarity with various generator brands and models• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills• Ability to work independently and in a team environment• Strong customer service and communication skills• Valid driver's license and clean driving record• Generac air-cooled & liquid cooled certification preferred
