Overview** Coming Soon ** Shorewood Behavioral Health Hospital Shorewood Behavioral Health hospital, scheduled to open in late November 2024, will be a 120-bed new acute hospital located in Madison, WI . Shorewood Behavioral Health Hospital will specialize in providing comprehensive acute and outpatient psychiatric care for adolescents, adults, and seniors dealing with mental health and substance use disorders, . The hospital will offer Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), along with the development of specialized programs to meet community need.
Overview: Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses through a combination of personal counseling (psychotherapy), psychoanalysis, hospitalization and/or medication.
Responsibilities Summary: Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility. Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures. Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations. Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications. Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner. Maintain conf Qualifications Qualifications: One or more years' post graduate degree practice preferred. Licensed in the the state in which the facility(s) operate. Licenses/Certifications: Board certification in psychiatry Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
