This is an excellent career development opportunity for a food service professional with at least one year of supervisory or management experience.
Job Responsibilities The manager oversees both customer service and kitchen operations to ensure Dog Haus policies and procedures are met. Kitchen experience required! Must also have open availability and excellent customer service and FOH management skills. We're looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to help lead and create an extraordinary experience for both our guests and crew! Daily responsibilities include the following:
Required skills: Manages food safety cleanliness guidelines. Works quickly and efficiently. Effective communicator and very reliable. Supervises training for all store team members. Actively participates in hiring and recruiting. Works with the team to prepare the store to be guest-ready by opening, and/or closing. Ensures that all steps of service and procedural tools are being used and followed. Motivates team members through positive encouragement, embracing the company culture. Able to lead shifts, while driving sales, reducing waste, and upholding Dog Haus quality standards. Oversees shift labor to ensure proper staff utilization, employee breaks and general labor efficiency during the shift. Guarantees that all cash handling, reconciliation, and credit card procedures are followed. Completes opening & closing manager procedures. Basic computer & Microsoft Office Inventory and order management Preferred skills: Understanding of 3rd party delivery provider systems Local area marketing and social media promotions Comfortable with computers/smart technology and 3rd party applications Opening new restaurants Bar management and/or craft beer knowledge Hours may vary, but ability to work nights and weekends is a MUST. Average work week includes 50 hours over 5 days but may require additional days/hours at times based on business needs.
