Responsibilities
• Provide general property management and asset management oversight• Ensure compliance with rules and regulations• Supervise property management staff• Establish work procedures and priorities• Ensure physical integrity of properties• Provide leadership and technical expertise• Protect SLHA assets and ensure regulatory compliance• Evaluate and perform housing program services• Direct operational strategy of assigned portfolio• Monitor and evaluate operations to ensure staff compliance
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field• Minimum of 7 years of property management or related work experience• Preferred: Public Housing Manager or Certified Occupancy Specialist certificate• Knowledge of property management principles, federal housing laws, and SLHA policies• Knowledge of employee supervision and training• Ability to problem-solve and provide technical expertise• Ability to monitor and evaluate operations• Skill in data analysis and budget development• Skill in procurement and contract administration• Ability to work collaboratively with Facilities Manager• Ability to explain and implement housing programs• Ability to resolve tenant conflicts and improve housing services• Ability to develop working relationships and represent the agency• Ability to respond to emergencies• Must have a current driver's license and be insurable
