Responsibilities
• Manage cases in all phases of insurance defense litigation• Conduct research and writing for cases• Handle motion practice and discovery• Attend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials• Represent defendants in significant exposure cases• Defend property and personal injury claims• Litigate catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex cases• Work collaboratively with partners and senior associates• Provide excellent client service• Maintain high ethical standards
Requirements
• Admission to the New Mexico Bar• Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation• Strong research and writing skills• Ability to handle case management, motion practice, and discovery• Experience with hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials• Substantive litigation experience preferred• Excellent litigation skills in any arena accepted
