Airco Service is currently looking for a dedicated and qualified individual to join our accounting department. This position is responsible for the accurate financial reporting of payroll data for hourly employees and the semi-monthly reporting of payroll data for salary employees. An understanding of accrual-based accounting is required. This position is not remote or hybrid, so reliable and regular office attendance is required. Responsibilities: Prepare and post weekly payroll journal entries and perform variance analysis. Maintain fixed assets and prepaid schedules. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of the monthly intercompany billing and work with the Manager of Corporate Accounting and Consolidations on monthly reconciliation of accounts. Assist with month-end close and year end close process. Verify calculations for various business receivables such as utility and vendor rebates and research discrepancies. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting. Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP function and pivot tables. (3) years of payroll GL reconciliation experience. (3) years general ledger accounting experience. A problem solver able to meet tight deadlines and be a problem solver. Whats in it for you?
