Superior Contracting & Maintenance is seeking a General Handyman to join our team in the construction industry. Our company has been providing property management companies with reliable and efficient maintenance services for over 12 years. We take pride in delivering clear communication and high-quality repairs in a timely manner for residents and homeowners. Our services range from roofing, gutters, and siding to interior and exterior painting, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, and more. As a General Handyman, you will play an essential role in providing these services and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of residential or commercial properties Assess and troubleshoot maintenance issues to determine the root cause and the best course of action for repair Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs, including installing and repairing fixtures and appliances Perform minor carpentry repairs and installations such as doors, windows, and kitchen cabinets Participate in landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, and maintaining trees and shrubs Perform pressure washing and carpet cleaning services when needed. Communicate with customers to understand their needs and ensure that their expectations are met Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of experience in property maintenance Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repair procedures Understanding of landscaping, painting, and flooring installation procedures Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with customers and team members Ability to lift heavy objects, climb stairs and ladders, and work in small spaces in various weather conditions.
