Continually work on increasing knowledge of the products we sell and their uses Merchandising skills and abilities. Knowledge of plants, gardening, native and drought tolerant, outdoor power equipment and soils preferred, will train Can help customers with gardening questions Education/Training: High School diploma or GED equivalent or currently in school. Experience:
Trade skills accompanied by a personality that will support our Core Values and mission is a plus but will train. Skills/Knowledge: Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business. Physical Requirements: The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally. Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff and customers a normal in-person and phone conversation. Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel.
