Position Summary
Part-time student assistant (=12 credit hours) are needed during peak work-load periods to assist with planting and harvesting in the Georgia Peanut Breeding Program at the Coastal Plain Experiment Station, Tifton Campus. The time available to work needs to be either mornings (8-12 am) or afternoons (1-5pm) during M, T, W, Th, and F with maximum 20hrs/wk. This work will entail following oral instructions closely from technical staff while maintaining genetic purity and sample identity at all times.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Knowledge of operating various farm machines or small-plot equipment would be desirable.
