Fund Accountant

Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Fund Accountant to join our team. As a Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Your role will involve reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data, and providing detailed reports to stakeholders. You will work closely with investment managers, auditors, and other financial professionals to maintain the integrity of our fund's financial records.
Responsibilities: Manage daily financial transactions, including recording and reconciling investment activities, income, and expenses. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Conduct regular audits of fund accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with investment managers and other team members to ensure proper allocation of funds and adherence to investment strategies. Assist with regulatory filings and compliance requirements. Communicate effectively with auditors, investors, and other stakeholders to address inquiries and provide necessary information. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and optimize financial processes. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or similar certification preferred. Previous experience in fund accounting or related financial roles. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
