Job Description
Objective: The Functional Analystis responsible for understanding, maintaining, creating, and implementing efficient business processes specifically related to the Sage 100 ERP system. This position will be responsible for working closely with business users, other internal IT staff, and external consultants to complete projects while providing technical support for Sage 100 ERP software.
Essential Functions (Other duties as assigned):
Intimate experience with Sage 100 ERP software.Working knowledge and understanding of database design, software functionality and software administration with the ability to provide technical support and training to non-technical team members.Ability to analyze issues to identify root-causes and develop solutions to address.Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot customization through integrated scripts.Inform, advise, and instruct users on resolving queries and using the ERP system effectively.Experience or ability to create/edit Crystal Reports is preferred.Experience and understanding of SQL. Capability to create basic queries.Experience with change management solutions like Git/Github.Ability to work collaboratively and in a supportive manner with technical and user teams. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding ofcorporate reporting and procedures.Contributes to business process flows and project requirements for new IT development.Prototypes new business processes, communicates the benefits to obtain organizational support, and leads the implementation of new procedures.Strong advocate for culture of process optimization and the associated business change management.General knowledge of finance, or accounting.Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and thrive in a high pace fast growing organization with strong desire to improve personally and professionally.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.Relevant certifications preferred but not required.Experience:
3+ years of experience required but exceptions could be made for the right candidate.Work Environment:
Agricultural office environment in rural area.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to attend and participate in meetings of various lengths
Ability to sit at a desk for an 8-hour workday.
Additional Requirements:
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to work and attend meetings.
