Job Responsibilities: • Oversee and assist all activities of hotel maintenance operations

• Perform and direct preventative maintenance programs/repairs for equipment, guest rooms, and hotel grounds

• Secure and oversee outside contractors to handle more complicated equipment and building repairs

• Perform repairs of minor mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building-related components

• Maintain pool and spa according to the company, the property brand, and state and local codes  

• Maintain outdoor appearance, including lawn, landscaping, and parking lot

• Follow and ensure that Policies and Procedures of the Hotel Operations are followed

• Analyze and report operations performance and make suggestions to improve such findings

• Ensure compliance with hotel and brand regulations

• Ensure control/protection of company assets

• Supervise the other maintenance staff and delegate tasks daily as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager and/or the property owner

Requirements: • Must be at least 18 years of age

• A minimum of one year in a maintenance position or relevant experience required

• Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift

• Ability to use tools and standard maintenance equipment

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required and/or as needed

• Ability to take ownership of your environment

• Maintain a professional appearance at all times

• Ability to work effectively independently and/or with minimal supervision
