Overview: Approximate schedule is from 2PM - 10PM and requires weekend availability.
SUMMARY 
Responsible for the cleaning of public spaces and some employee spaces of the property delegated by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Housekeeping Manager. To maintain the cleanliness of guest corridors, service areas, linen closets and employee and guest related areas, i.e., cleans rooms and halls in the hotel, and restaurants by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:
Restocks supply closets on a daily basis or as needed.
Cleans lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors and stairwell.
Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
Dusts corridor furniture.
Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork in corridors.
Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
Empties wastebaskets and empties/cleans ashtrays.
Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
Replaces light bulbs.
Removes used linen from beds.
Removes garbage and debris from guest rooms.
Picks up used linen from guest rooms as needed and delivers to the laundry room.
Distributes rollaways, cribs, irons/boards, hair dryers, etc. as per guest requests, and ensure proper storage upon the guests departure.
Vacuums all guest corridors daily, edge when needed.
Keeps elevator free of debris, and ensure brass is clean and free of fingerprints.
Checks public restrooms throughout shift to ensure cleanliness and that they are stocked with the proper supplies.
Keeps hotel entrance free of debris and all glass doors free of finger marks.
Any other tasks assigned by Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work afternoon/evening evening shifts, generally 2PM - 10PM.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Wage range: $24.00/Hour - $25.85/Hour Eligible for medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and life insurance under our existing group plans Eligible for 401(k) retirement plan with employer match following 1 year of service under our existing plan 11 days of PTO accrued in the first year based on an employee working 40/hours each week Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
