Catering Prep & Dish is needed. Monday to Saturday 8AM -4PM. Position Overview: We take pride in making "The best nuggets you'll ever have" (and other menu items). As part of our Prep Crew, you'll portion and prep nuggets, sides, salads, and sauces according to our recipes and par sheet. You'll need basic knife skills, food safety knowledge, and good time management and organization skills. You will also wash dishes and tools and maintain clean workspace areas.
Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to sanitation standards and safety regulations at all times. Operate kitchen tools and equipment safely and efficiently, and execute daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep them in good working order. Prep ingredients and portion items needed for menu items to be used during service. Follow the prep par guidelines daily and execute in a timely manner. Adhere to safe food handling protocols at all times while working, including filling out food labels for all prepped items. Maintain a clean and organized walk-in and freezer with proper storage of food items with labels facing forward and organized dry storage areas. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in tools using a dish machine as well as 3-bay sink hand-washing protocols. Sweep and mop the floors and remove trash and recycling to maintain clean areas of the restaurant Collaborate with the BOH team to uphold a positive and productive work environment. Other tasks not listed above that are assigned to you by your manager. Could be required to go on catering deliveries for set-up assistance. Requirements At least 18 years of age Proven experience as a prep cook or similar role. Able to read and speak English. Proficient knowledge of food safety procedures and kitchen equipment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team-oriented, fast-paced work environment. Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high culinary standards. You have the ability to lift 75 lbs. consistently while twisting, reaching, and bending. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and early mornings.
