PURPOSE

Our agency is seeking an experienced Fiscal and Contracts Manager to handle our day-to-day accounting, finance, and contract requirements.
Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly.
The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, reliable and committed to consistently meeting deadlines, preparing reports and financial data. Requires strong computer and internet
research skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients, and vendors. Sensitivity to confidential matters is required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare budget data, revenue and expense reports; balance and maintain accurate ledgers.
Perform monthly account reconciliation and report financial results on a regular basis to management.
Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow and balance sheets.
Manage all accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Review timesheets and run bi-weekly payroll, managing sick leave and vacation balances.
Prepare year-end reporting including W-2s and 1099 forms.
Manage and maintain all vendor contracts, agency contracts and RFP process.
Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner.
Generate memos, emails, and reports when appropriate, maintaining confidentiality.
Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
Process new hire paperwork.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a minimum of two years equivalent experience is required.
Two years' experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll and payroll reports.
Demonstrated experience working with non-profit organizations while utilizing state and federal funding systems.
Proficient in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Must have proficient experience and knowledge of Quick Books, specifically the Job Costing Module.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and government reporting requirements.
Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation.
Ability to maintain and keep agency contracts up to date.
Excellent oral and written comprehension and expression, and superior listening skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of principles and methods for providing consumer service, meeting quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction surveys.
Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
