Kwik Trip Inc . is seeking a full-time Petroleum Project Coordinator.
This position is responsible for coordinating Petroleum & Fueling projects cost effectively and efficiently with various internal and external resources, helping retail and the company achieve their goals. This position will also be responsible for coordinating the integration of fueling related equipment with corporate network and Point of Sale equipment while maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies including State and local regulators and Payment Card Industry practices. This coordinating is to include the required testing, documentation, and submittal of such records within the timelines necessary to meet code and recognized standards.
Additional responsibilities include: Interpret building codes and permit processes to be able to obtain appropriate permits to complete the petroleum/fueling projects. Review/Approve/Deny change order requests, invoicing, and other documentation related to retail capital expenditure petroleum projects. Obtain bids, hire, and coordinate contractors for various aspects of retail capital expenditure petroleum/fueling projects. Work with manufacturers and suppliers to determine best products and installation practices to complete fueling system projects/service at retail. Qualifications: Minimum of an associate degree or equivalent experience Minimum 3 years of project management experience that includes knowledge of petroleum & Fueling equipment, practices, and principles. Ability to manage multiple projects, employees, and contractors to be efficient. Strong oral and written communication to project stakeholders Knowledge of Gilbarco Fueling Equipment Knowledge of Various Point of Sales Systems (NCR/Radiant and Comdata preferred) Knowledge of principles and practices of petroleum project coordination Knowledge of planning, design, and permitting procedures to obtain necessary approvals. Knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and materials Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, Maximo, and other programs Strong computer skills to be efficient in project management. Knowledge of computer network installations and set up Knowledge of Payment Card Industry practices Problem solving skills to handle issues when they arise. Ability to embrace change and new processes within the department and company. Ability to work efficiently without continuous supervision to get projects completed on time and within budget. Work schedule: 45 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday with some evening meetings and overnights. Flexibility in schedule.
