Front End Manager Primarily responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Front-End. This includes managing employees, scheduling shifts, and ensuring that customers have a positive experience when entering and leaving the store. Front-End managers is responsible for managing the store in absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Provides training to new employees on company policies and procedures. Monitors employee performance to ensure they are performing their responsibilities in a satisfactory manner. Manages the stores operation including the Front-End Employee schedules and customer satisfaction. Overseeing all front-end operations including cash handling, register reconciliation, and customer service. Directly coordinates, assigns, reviews and supervises daily operations of the front-end staff. Supports the Store Manager with payroll budgeting and reporting. Maximizes performance by coaching, mentoring, and disciplining employees when needed. Leads front-end meetings and participates in total store staff meetings. Resolves customer complaints in a professional and timely manner. Monitors front-end for cleanliness, neatness, and preparation for the next shift Understands and adheres to Local, State and Federal Department of Labor regulations for any employees under 18 years of age. Trustworthy- Given a key to open or close the store when needed Work cooperatively with others. Ability to engage and lead employees to achieve front end goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements:
Ability to read, write, speak, analyze and understand Ability to perform basic math Ability to stand/walk the duration of scheduled shift. Ability to repeatedly bend, twist, reach, push, pull, squat and stretch during a shift Frequently use both hands to grab, grasp, lift, pull, push and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs. Ability to extend and reach both arms fully forward. Ability to use both arms, shoulders and hands to transfer/load products into bags/carts. Regularly twisting torso to properly position body weight. Regularly retrieve carts by pushing, pulling carts from parking lot and place them into store. Regularly lift items in and out of carts. Frequently transport packages to customers' vehicle. Exposure to extreme temperature changes. Regularly provide face to face customer service. Availability: Open availability preferred
