This person will work alongside our web team to determine customer needs, brainstorm solutions, generate website mockups and prototypes, present work to customers and develop and optimize live platforms. Duties include communicating with clients to identify their needs, optimizing websites for different formats like desktops and mobile phones and running tests to ensure code strings perform the correct functions.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESWorking with clients to develop the overall look and design of a website with a special focus on faithandreason.com and Franciscan.eduWriting website code with programming languages such as HTML and CSS (PHP and JS a plus)Incorporating applications, graphics, audio and video clips into client websitesRoutinely testing websites for ease of use, speed and other quality factors - Fixing any website issues or bugs that ariseMaintaining WordPress theme and plugin customizationsEnsuring websites are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphonesThis is not intended to be an all-inclusive list.
