Limelight Hotels are contemporary properties set in the heart of authentic mountain and urban communities owned and operated by Aspen Hospitality. The current portfolio includes Limelight Hotel Aspen, Limelight Hotel Snowmass and Limelight Hotel Denver in Colorado; and the Limelight Hotel Ketchum near Sun Valley in Idaho. Two additional Limelight Hotels in Mammoth, California, and Boulder, Colorado, are slated to open in 2024 and 2025, respectively. Job Description Summary
The Front Desk Agent welcomes and registers guests, presents statements, and collects payment for departing guests. They also communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services to fulfill guest requests. 
Essential Job Functions
• Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
• Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
• Respond to guests' complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Select and block rooms for arriving guests, book same day reservations, pre-register guests as required, and sometimes escort guests to their rooms
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs
• Receive payment from and check out hotel guests 
• Work closely with the guest services agents to coordinate the smooth and efficient handling of guest luggage at both check in and check out
• Create unique baskets or special amenities for special guests 
• Accept reservations, changes, and cancellations 
• Recommend restaurants and activities to guests
• Make change, post charges, reconcile daily work, and make deposits
• Communicate with guests and coworkers in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
• Other duties as assigned 
Qualifications • Must be over 18 years of age 
• High School Diploma or high school equivalent preferred 
• 1 year of guest / customer service skills preferred 
Additional Information Supervision Given and Received Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Received: Works under direct supervision of Front Office Manager. Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently. Instruction, advice and assistance are readily available.
Work Environment and Physical Demands 
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, see, hear, stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
Regularly work/drive in adverse weather conditions. Frequently drive in bright sunlight and at night. Exposure to noises that cause distraction and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces. Must be able to constantly lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance.
