• Check-in and check-out guests• Handle room reservations and rate-quoting• Maintain knowledge of hotel promotions and programs• Assist guests with safe deposit boxes• Maintain clean work area• Balance and close shift paperwork• Assist with emergency procedures• Use proper communication etiquette with employees• Operate front desk computer system• Complete tasks and duties on shift checklist
Requirements
• College coursework in related field helpful• Experience in hotel or related field preferred• High School diploma or equivalent required• Computer experience required• Customer service experience preferred• Effective verbal and written communication skills• Ability to multitask and prioritize• Friendly and service-oriented demeanor• Ability to solve problems and anticipate guest needs• Ability to maintain confidentiality• Initiative and willingness to cross-train
