Job summary
Front Desk Agents are responsible for greeting and registering guests, providing outstanding service, and settling guest accounts.Primary responsibilities include registering guests, making and modifying reservations, and performing hotel operator and concierge duties.Must possess a positive and upbeat personality and have a desire to deliver outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities
• Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.• Comply with company policies, standards, and regulations.• Greet and welcome guests, maintaining a friendly and warm demeanor.• Handle requests for information, mail, and messages.• Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation.• Establish and maintain good communication and teamwork with fellow associates and other hotel departments.• Be familiar with rates, packages, special promotions, in-house groups, and closed-out dates.• Obtain necessary information and follow rate quoting scenarios when taking room reservations.• Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly and efficient manner.
Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful.• Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.• Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and problem-solve.• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.• Ability to work well in high-pressure situations.• Effective at handling workplace problems and resolving issues.• Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.• Understanding of hotel products and guest services.• Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.• Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondence.
