Responsibilities
• Performing freight handling using motorized and manual equipment• Verifying documentation matches freight description• Securing freight inside trailers• Recouping/repairing damaged freight• Completing required documentation and reports• Assisting customers with freight and documentation• Performing hostling duties if required• Complying with laws/regulations and company policies/procedures• Performing other duties as required
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred• Must be at least 18 years of age• Prior experience in warehousing, freight handling, and/or forklift operations preferred• Ability to count and perform basic math• Basic written and verbal communication skills• Ability to lift/carry hand freight of varying weights• Ability to bend, twist, squat, push/pull freight throughout shift• Ability to work independently and/or as a team member• Previous dock/warehouse experience preferred
