About the Role Our client, a cycling company is seeking a mid-level videographer for a project. The project involves documenting a 200-mile gravel race by following former professional cyclist Thomas Dekker. The footage captured during this project will become part of a YouTube series focused on Thomas Dekker's cycling adventure. The videographer will be required to be physically present at the location in Emporia, United States, for the entire duration of the project.
Responsibilities: Film and document the 200-mile gravel race, focusing on capturing footage of former professional cyclist Thomas Dekker's participation. Operate professional video equipment, including cameras, lenses, and accessories, to capture high-quality footage in various shooting environments. Ensure proper lighting, framing, and shot composition to create visually engaging and dynamic footage. Work closely with the production team, if applicable, to understand the creative vision and requirements for the project. Requirements Proven experience as a videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in sports, documentary, or adventure filmmaking. Proficiency in operating professional video cameras, lenses, and accessories in various shooting environments. Excellent knowledge of framing, composition, and lighting techniques for capturing high-quality video footage. Ability to work efficiently and adapt to changing conditions during the gravel race. Availability to be present on-site in Emporia, United States, for the duration of the project
