Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager
5 + years of commercial construction experience.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise work of projects
- Coordinate work with superintendents, architects and engineers to establish priorities
- Maintain relationships with owners, subcontractors, architects and engineers
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Computer skills; Microsoft Office, Excel, Procore or similar construction software
- Experience with reading blueprints and project specifications
- Assist in estimate projects
- Self-motivated and attention to detail
- Team player
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field experience in commercial construction preferred. Involvement in the following industries would be highly desirable: aviation, advanced manufacturing, industrial, and/or food processing.
* An understanding of construction means and methods; knowledge of federal, state, and local building codes, ordinances and regulations; ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements; and fiscal management experience.
* Accuracy is critical for success in this role. Candidate must have superior organizational, communication (both written and verbal) and decision-making skills.
* Microsoft Office programs, Excel, as well as adept in using general computer software. Procore experience is also a plus.
