What's a typical day as a Forklift Operator? You'll be:
• Assessing material needs and developing forecasts for assigned production area at the beginning of the shift and ordering materials to support the production schedule.
• Transporting materials, including raw materials, components, packaging materials, finished goods, and/or scrap, to/from the production floor.
• Completing required paperwork to accompany outgoing materials such as intercompany bills-of-lading.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a valid forklift certification
• Have basic PC skills
• Are able to lift heavy items and operate a forklift or pallet jack
• Are detail-oriented and able to follow established procedures
