Forklift Operator

Job summary
As a Forklift Operator, you support the success of our Distribution Centers by working safely and efficiently to perform various tasks.You are responsible for developing the necessary skills to work in a fast-paced environment.Success in this role is measured by your ability to learn new skills, operate equipment safely, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
• Maintain a safe and clean facility• Operate powered industrial equipment in a safe manner• Load, unload, pick, and put away product using a warehouse management system• Meet individual performance metrics and goals• Perform daily safety checks of equipment• Maintain integrity of products through proper handling and storage• Perform periodic inventory counts• Perform routine facilities maintenance and housekeeping tasks• Complete required training• Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED• Prior experience in a distribution center/warehouse environment• Forklift certification• Good verbal and written communication skills• Basic arithmetic skills• Time management and organization skills• Can-do attitude, sense of urgency, and strong work ethic• Ability to learn and operate facility equipment• Ability to lift and move over 75 pounds• Manual dexterity• Normal range of hearing and vision
