We are looking for a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Management Analyst to support the NAVAIR SYSCOM Security Cooperation Office (SSCO) in Patuxent River, Maryland. This is a hybrid position with three in-office days per week.
Functional Description and Responsibilities: Supports the efforts and actions of the Case Manager/Program Managers/Team Lead for various Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. Supports program requirements, program schedules and performs other related tasks in support of FMS pre-case, case execution, reconciliation and case closure activities, in accordance with the Arms Export Control Act, the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) as well as applicable DoD Acquisition policy guidance. Assist the Program/Case Manager in the execution of all assigned program activities. Participate in meetings to support program objectives and the Program/Case Manager. Analyzes program requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs program management, technical, or business case analyses. Participates as a member of and/or supports the specified Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs); and IPT directed business meetings. Collect, complete, organize and interpret technical data and financial information relating to aircraft acquisition and product programs for FMS requirements. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies policies and procedures for financial planning. Required Education: Bachelor's degree or allowable substitutions. Allowable substitutions for a Bachelor's degree include an Associate's degree and two years of additional work experience or four years of additional work experience.
Required Experience: This position requires three to ten years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.
Desired Experience: Two (2) years of experience in a business or technical position with FMS, Cooperative Programs and/or Security Assistance experience related to program requirements, schedules and performs other related tasks in support of FMS pre-case, case execution, reconciliation, and case closure activities.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
