Job Summary:The Ford Diesel Certified Service Technician at Prestige Ford is responsible for performing skilled mechanical work in the service and repair of Ford diesel vehicles. This is a full-time, individual contributor role located in Mount Dora, Florida within the Auto industry. As a Ford Diesel Certified Service Technician, you will be expected to have thorough knowledge of Ford diesel vehicle systems, components, and repairs. Your work will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of our customers' vehicles.Compensation & Benefits:This position offers a competitive salary of $35 to $50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous compensation package, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan.Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and services on Ford diesel vehicles according to manufacturer specificationsDiagnose and repair mechanical or electrical issues with Ford diesel vehiclesPerform complex repairs, including engine overhauls, transmission replacements, and other major repairsUse diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and identify issues with vehicle systemsKeep accurate and detailed records of all services performed and parts usedCommunicate with service advisors and customers to explain repairs and services neededStay up-to-date with new technology, procedures, and techniques to maintain and enhance technical proficiencyMaintain a clean and organized work areaRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentFord Diesel Certification requiredAt least 2 years of related work experience in a similar roleGood communication and customer service skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyMust have own toolsValid driver's license and clean driving recordEEOC Statement:Prestige Ford is an equal opportunity employer.
