Full job description FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER - The Last Hotel, St. Louis, MO Join The Last Hotel in St. Louis as our Food and Beverage Manager and lead our culinary team to new heights of excellence. Role Overview: As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our dining operations, including restaurants, bars, room service, and events. Your leadership and expertise will ensure that every guest enjoys exceptional cuisine and attentive service.
What You'll Do: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth and enhance the overall dining experience. Lead and motivate the food and beverage team, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and guest satisfaction. Collaborate with the culinary team to design innovative menus that showcase local flavors and seasonal ingredients. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as brand standards, to maintain a clean and safe dining environment. Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, and implement cost-control measures as needed. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure quality products and services. Coordinate special events, promotions, and catering services to maximize revenue opportunities and create memorable guest experiences. Who You Are: Previous experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment. Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data and make strategic decisions to drive profitability. Knowledge of food and beverage trends, culinary techniques, and industry best practices. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to oversee dining operations.
