Responsibilities
• Manages the Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training, and developing department associates• Supervises the performance of all duties and responsibilities of department associates• Maintains effective work schedules for Food Lion To Go associates• Supports the achievement of budgeted financial and operating results• Coordinates with department managers to handle fresh orders and out of stocks• Ensures return-to-stock items are handled promptly and orderly• Role models outstanding customer service• Controls store's expenses• Maintains department appearance, quality, workplace safety, and food safety• Ensures compliance with regulations and company guidelines
Requirements
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred• Ability to lead and manage a team• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements• Must meet minimum age requirements• Must be accredited as a "Certified Food Safety Manager"• Physical requirements: use of computers, hand held computers, standing, pushing/pulling heavy loads, repetitive motions, lifting, handling substances, reaching and grasping, tolerate extreme temperatures, sufficient visual ability
