WHAT YOU'LL DO
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Bistro and Starbucks outlets, ensuring seamless service and adherence to brand standards.  Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize efficiency and productivity.  Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering to maintain adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.  Recruit, train, and mentor a team of passionate individuals dedicated to delivering exceptional service.  Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.  Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive professional growth and development.  Uphold the highest standards of hospitality, consistently exceeding guest expectations and creating memorable dining experiences.  Proactively address guest feedback and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner.  Collaborate with other hotel departments to coordinate special events and promotions, ensuring a cohesive guest experience across all touchpoints.  Prepare and manage departmental budgets, closely monitoring expenses and revenue to achieve financial targets.  Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization, implementing strategies to maximize profitability.  Analyze sales trends and customer preferences to inform menu development and pricing strategies.  Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with industry best practices and local requirements.  Implement and enforce food safety protocols, conducting regular inspections and audits to uphold quality standards.  WHY  Courtyard Baton Rouge Downtown: Competitive Salary: We believe in recognizing and rewarding our team members for their hard work.

SKILLS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.  Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and motivate teams.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.  Solid understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.  Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, with relevant certifications preferred.  Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.  Must be able to work independently while maintaining timelines.
