Closing Date: April 14, 2024Teck Alaska Incorporated, Red Dog Operations, one of the world's largest producers of zinc concentrate, is recruiting for Warehouse Floor Person (Temporary)Rotation schedule will 2 weeks on-site with 2 weeks off-siteReporting to the Warehouse SupervisorResponsibilities:Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and proceduresPromote mine safety so that everyone is going home safe and healthy every dayManage warehouse issues and returnsPerform inventory cycle countingSupport fuel barge offload proceduresPerform air freight receiving operationsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED equivalentAble to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basisAble to climb ladders and work outdoors with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditionsPrevious experience in an industrial warehousing environment including the operation of common warehousing materials including computers is preferredAbout TeckSuccessful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a physical assessment, drug screen and a background check.
