FLEX LEO's are specifically recruited and designated individuals paid at a premium rate when utilized and designed to be available on short notice to fill unanticipated or as-needed open shifts. They are paid at a premium rate in recognition of their ability to respond on short/no notice to unanticipated or short duration work assignments. If you are a retired or current law enforcement officer and willing to work flexible shifts on an 'as needed' basis then this may be the position for you.
