Teufel Landscape has an opening for a Fleet Mechanic. Must have a minimum of 5 years of mechanical experience and some Fleet Manager experience, to oversee production and administrative duties of our entire fleet. Must have experience in all phases of vehicle / construction equipment maintenance and repair, including welding. Perform a variety of duties in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing vehicles, equipment, and associated components. Inspect vehicles, diesel trucks, and other equipment to locate mechanical defects, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems and to determine/perform/outsource corrective procedures. As Fleet Mechanic, you will have overall responsibility for an entire fleet of autos, trucks, heavy equipment (diesel), and small equipment. The ideal candidate will have several years of mechanic experience (equipment rental yard experience a plus), excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask, and work under pressure. All while putting safety first. Must own tools and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Pay is negotiated ($30.00 to $45.00 per hour based on experience).
