Under the supervision of the Mobile Warehousing and Transportation Manager, this individual will inspect vehicles, generators, and ensure maintenance completion of vehicles by performing maintenance or coordinating the scheduling of maintenance. Advises decision makers on issues related to maintenance of vehicles, DOT compliance, and OSHA regulations. Ensures safety standards are being met in all vehicle areas.

Essential Functions:
Interprets and adheres to all regulatory standards including but not limited to DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA. Ensures organization compliance with DOT regulations to include ensuring DOT inspections are accurate. Gathers, inspects, and files all fleet documentation including ensuring DOT inspections are accurate including resolving issues with manager as needed. Schedules and/or provides vehicle maintenance, including unexpected repairs, support for all vehicles leased or owned including documentation. Maintains a clean and safe work environment for all vehicle areas. Functions as a driver for blood collection operations. Other Functions:
Ensure vehicle preventative and emergency maintenance is completed to minimize operational disruptions. Works in tandem with the Mobile Packing Supervisor to ensure mobile load outs are safe and secured. Prepare vehicles for mobiles including loading equipment and supplies, as needed. Deliver vehicles, equipment and supplies to mobile, as needed. Other related duties as assigned. Education and Experience:
Education: High School Diploma required. Secondary schooling/training preferred. Experience: 3-5 years of vehicle maintenance, and/or driving preferred. Licenses / Certifications:
Must h ave and maintain a valid operator ' s license (MO CDL class B , KS CDL class B). Airbrake endorsement preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge: General diesel/gasoline engine repair knowledge. Working knowledge of business concepts such as record keeping in accordance with DOT requirements.
