Responsibilities
• Operate basic support equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts• Perform bearing analysis and installation• Complete basic mechanical projects• Lube small equipment, store new oil, and dispose of waste oil• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair milling equipment• Work with mill operations and technical services groups• Respond to equipment emergencies on a 24-hour basis• Develop other department personnel• Comply with company policies and procedures• Meet or exceed performance expectations• Exercise discretion and judgment in job performance• Work without risk or harm to self and others• Possess a valid driver's license• Punctuality and regular attendance required• Perform other related functions as assigned
Requirements
• Knowledge of lubing equipment and oil storage and disposal processes• Basic mechanical skills and cutting and welding techniques• Good communication and interpersonal skills• General understanding of mining and limited understanding of milling and maintenance operations• Working knowledge of PC and various software• Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills• Ability to work with minimum supervision• Ability to complete maintenance on a timely basis• Ability to prepare documentation and records• Minimum 3 years of crusher maintenance preferred• Ability to work independently and in a team• Strong administrative and technical writing skills• Must be authorized to work in the US and possess a valid driver's license• Must meet 'Authorized User' requirements for High Risk Activities
