Job summary
The College of Population Health is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill a temporary Fiscal Services Tech position.The incumbent will provide fiscal support for the College of Population Health (COPH) research team.This position will support the COPH as it grows its research infrastructure and transitions to a School of Public Health.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Maintain and assist with the maintenance of fiscal control systems and ledgers• Post routine budget, revenue, expense, and correcting entries• Perform transaction initiation, requisition, or journaling duties• Review and process routine accounting data• Respond to a range of inquiries regarding financial transactions• Prepare, process, and track salary distribution and re-distribution• Prepare documentation for accounts payables/receivables and other billings/invoicing• Review purchasing, travel, and personnel transactions• Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED• At least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified• Knowledge of Banner, LoboMart, and Chrome River (preferred)• Experience with PCard use (preferred)• Experience with Excel (preferred)
