First Class Pipe Welder

ATSS has a client in Mobile, AL that will be in need of Pipe Welders. The following is required of all levels :
The ability to understand directions and follow instructions. Cuts, fits, and welds pipe for marine piping systems. Personally, signs QA documents for pipe joint fit up and weld requirements. Personally, signs for completeness of work in work packages. Torch cuts pipe clean and true Welds pipe without leaks in positions with minimal clearance Determines job sites, particularly those involving combustible material, are safe for personnel and, when required, hot work Creates and maintains a work site that is compliant with safety and quality regulations and policies. Read and interpret weld symbols or blueprints, schematics, and job specifications Working knowledge of the use and limitations of 6011, 6010, and 7018 (Stick Welding) and/or sil-braze rods Must complete a practical exam that includes the administrative functions. May be assigned to work any shift.
