Firearms Manager

Job summary
Responsible for firearm inventory and maintaining compliance with ATF and PSA.Assist store management with store operations.Other responsibilities include gun counter sales, firearm displays, and more.

Responsibilities
• Control all aspects of acquisition and disposition process for firearms.• Maintain appearance and inventory of gun room.• Complete accurate paperwork and transactions according to company policies.• Recognize and identify areas where staff members need coaching or development.• Distribute and direct workload for gun counter.• Act on behalf of Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager in their absence.• Create an outstanding buying experience for customers.• Assist with all functions within the retail store.• Put guns on display and maintain their presentation.• Collaborate with Sales Associates to solve customer issues.• Assist in opening, closing, and operating the retail facility.• Work interdepartmentally to improve operations and grow the business.• Assist in other tasks, duties, or projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalency diploma required.• At least 9 months' experience in retail or service industry.• Strong knowledge of firearms, ATF compliance, and customer service.• Proficient in computers, Excel, and Outlook.• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.• Sound decision-making abilities.• Ability to train others and demonstrate strong leadership.• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.• Positive attitude and goal driven.• Required to maintain confidentiality.
