Fire Protection Technician

Position: Fire Protection Mechanic & Welders
Reports To: Project Manager
Status: Full Time
Fire Protection Company is seeking an experienced FP Mechanic & Welders for immediate opening.
The Fire Protection Mechanic will be responsible for the following:
* Study plans and specifications to help properly set up a construction site in collaboration with the supervisor.
* Evaluate the work to be done to make the various systems optimal / meet NFPA standards.
* Install, test, maintain, and troubleshoot various Fire Systems.
* Provide customer services and technical support for fire systems, including on-call services (on rotation) and travel to the client's site.
What will you need to succeed?
* Hold a CCQ Journeyman Fire Protection Mechanic card.
* Valid drivers license.
* Knowledge of MS Office.
* Resourceful and team spirit.
* Customer service skills.
* Available to work outside.
* Must be available to work with flexible schedules and occasional overtime hours (evenings/week-ends) respond to service calls.
* Experience with sprinkler systems or automatic extinguishers
* Fire alarm experience
