CLICK HERE:?TECHNICIAN VIDEO As a?Fire Alarm Technician, you will:Assistwith the commissioning of new fire alarm systems on constructionensuring seamlessintegrationAssistwith testing and inspecting of existing fire alarmsystemsPlan work with mentor, Lead Technician, and Team LeaderComplete commissioning within planned timelinesSubmitaccuratetime and expenselogsWork overtime whenneededYou will make an impact with these qualifications:Basic Qualifications:?Proven electro-mechanical aptitude (based onpreviousexperience and/or education) and user PC/softwareskill;proficient in Microsoft Office?Must be able to differentiate types/colors of wire; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds?unassistedMust obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 1 within18monthsLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipMust be 18 years of age andpossessa valid driver's license with limitedviolationsPreferred Qualifications:?High school diploma or state-recognized GED;Associatedegree in electronics or related field preferred6+monthsexperience installing commercial fire alarmequipmentAbility to read/understand design and constructiondocumentsYou'll benefitfrom:Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
