What you may receive: Base salary of $60,000-$150,000 per year A work environment built on collaboration, innovation, and trust Free comprehensive HMO with nominal upcharges for upscaling plans Dental and vision coverage Flextime and virtual work options (if applicable) Competitive 401(k) Plan featuring a company contribution Paid holidays and paid time off Modern and participative workplace culture Your duties and responsibilities: Efficiently plan audits and prepare financial statements Develop a command of generally accepted accounting principles ("GAAP"), other financial reporting frameworks, and general financial statement presentation Develop a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards ("GAAS"), other attestation standards, and common audit procedures and techniques Perform effective risk and internal control assessments Assist in identifying ways to provide additional value to clients Effectively perform as a team member and help to develop skill sets that contribute to overall team abilities Meet assigned deadlines or budgets and demonstrate proactive communication regarding such Build and maintain client relationships Participate in board meeting presentations Manage audits with several engagements running simultaneously Bill clients in a timely manner Coach and supervise team members Assist in creating professional development plans for staff members Review audit engagement procedures performed by the audit team in a timely and professional manner Participate in firm growth and management Provide proactive assistance to team members and department managers in execution of department initiatives Adhere to ethical business practices Other duties as required Location/Flex options Opportunity to work from Colorado Springs or Denver Working from client offices is often required with occasional work from home options Expected 40 hours per week with flexible start times To be a successful candidate, you will have: A BA/BS degree in accounting 2+ years of relevant audit experience CPA license preferred Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word Strong problem-solving skills Effective communicator with all levels of an organization, written, and verbal Ability to build relationships, while asking tough questions Strong time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment BiggsKofford Colorado Springs Location: 630 SouthPointe Ct. #200
